The general requirements below apply to admission and readmission to any course at the college.
Please understand that admission to The Institute is selective. Only minimum requirements for
admission are provided; satisfaction of these minimums does not guarantee admission.
Step 1: Application
The candidate should carefully read the requirements of the course they are interested in before
making the application. Course information can be found on the TRAINING PROGRAMS Page.
There is no fee required for application.

Step 2: Registration to the training program
An assessment of previous qualifications is carried out to determine candidate’s eligibility to the applied course. Eligible candidates will be informed through the provided contacts and invited to register for the selected course.
Ineligible candidates will be advised on the most appropriate level to start their career journey. The Admission Officer will call the candidate for career guidance.
Eligible candidates shall meet the following requirements before registration.
- Have a valid national ID card or a ‘waiting card’,
- Have a recent medical report from a government hospital,
- Complete an online registration form,
- Pay a registration fee of Ksh. 2500 for validation of credentials and a student ID.
Once registered, the candidate becomes a student at the institute.
Step 3: Admission to the college
Upon registration, the student will be admitted to the institute and notified via email/phone call
indicating the enrollment month.
If the student is unable to enroll for the month indicated or wishes to be considered for entrance to a different month, the Admissions Office should be notified immediately.
Admitted students will be required to report to the Admissions Office before the enrollment month
and receive their ‘Course Portfolio’. The student will be required to pay Ksh.2500 for the ‘Course
Portfolio’ and two College Tops.
Students requiring accommodation shall inform the Admissions Office before enrollment month.
Hostel Fees are handled differently by hostel providers.
Access to and ongoing use of a computer is required of all students. The institute expects new
students and continuing students to acquire computer hardware and software appropriate to the
course program.
The college provides computers and computer room for computer learning and student
assessments. However, the students require personal computer for their course work.
Please Note: a good smart phone may serve the purpose.
